SFM is the practice of the Berlin based designer and art director Florian Mecklenburg.
Within his work he develops intermedial visual strategies–commissioned and self-initiated–across graphic design, moving image, interactive experience, and art direction within physical and digital environments.
Each project evolves from an in depth research and offers a unique and multi-angled view on contemporary visual culture. In his work, he explores new and radical ways for design to be an active participant within the cultural sphere that represents a social and ethical value system.
Florian Mecklenburg further teaches visual communication at the KABK Den Haag.
